WHY NOW

There's a new account for your kid. Almost nobody knows what to do with it.

The 530A account (the "Trump account") is a new federal investment account for children. Most parents have heard of it. Very few know how it works, who can contribute, or what to do with the money once it's there. Lesson 2 covers it, start to finish. The federal pilot contribution is $1,000 for eligible children; the $500 a month figure in Lesson 1 is our illustration of a family contribution, not government money.

But an account is the easy part. Money handed to a kid who was never taught to use it is a default, not an advantage. The advantage is a child who grows up watching the plan, practicing with real decisions, and taking the handoff ready. That is the other five weeks.

The money, and the judgment to use it.

01

Build the machine.

Give the money a purpose. Learn how account options, contributions, fees, and time work together. Coordinate parents, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to contribute around a plan your family can keep.

02

Install the Map.

Bring the 4 Choices Framework into everyday family life. Practice money conversations. Use COMPASS+ for real family decisions. Post your family's first coordinates.

03

Design the handoff.

Build skills before transferring responsibility: watching, then participating, then practicing with real stakes, then owning it.

"This course does not care whether your child becomes a surgeon, a welder, a painter, or a farmer. It cares that they chose it, and that they could afford to." Coach DJ

A plan you build as you learn.

A six week cohort. Twelve short lessons, two a week, and one live Tuesday class with Coach DJ at 10 p.m. Eastern, recorded if you miss it. Saturday office hours for all students. Family conversations and worksheets put each lesson to work at home.

Lessons 1 to 2 · Week 1 Your family’s starting point

Topics: The Two Versions of Your Child; Where the $500 Comes From.

Describe your family’s Perfect Ordinary Tuesday, explore compounding with your own starting numbers, and record your first coordinates on the 4 Choices Map.

You leave with: Your numbers and your first coordinates.

Lessons 3 to 4 · Week 2 A purpose and a plan for the money

Topics: The Mission, the Village, and the Compass; Run the Decision, Build the Machine.

Choose the purpose: Launch, Runway, or Education. Use COMPASS+ to compare account options, coordinate the people contributing, and write rules for the months when money is tight.

You leave with: A contribution plan or dated readiness plan, plus a family contribution ledger.

Lessons 5 to 6 · Week 3 Everyday money habits

Topics: The Script and the Conversation; Allowance, Screens, and the Curriculum Only You Can Teach.

Explore the money messages your child hears at home. Set up Future, Give, and Life jars, choose an allowance approach, recognize marketing tactics, and practice a calm money conversation.

You leave with: Your family money practice.

Lessons 7 to 8 · Week 4 A child who can make decisions

Topics: Retire the Question, Install the Dashboard; Grades, People, and the Decision Budget.

Ask how your child wants to live. Use the Perfect Ordinary Tuesday interview, the Kid Dashboard, and age appropriate decisions to help them practice judgment.

You leave with: A design conversation in your child’s words and a real decision for them to own.

Lessons 9 to 10 · Week 5 Education and the world of work

Topics: The World They’re Inheriting; The Education Decision.

Explore AI, work, and ways to build income. Compare education and training paths using costs, borrowing, likely earning power, and the life your child wants.

You leave with: A next path decision or a practical exploration to test it.

Lessons 11 to 12 · Week 6 The handoff

Topics: The Ladder, the Match, and the Dinner; The Handoff.

Build a gradual handoff of responsibility. Plan the First Dollar Match, a Freedom Number Dinner, a Legacy Letter, and your annual Map Day review.

You leave with: A written handoff plan and your first Map Day on the calendar.

Completion means six finished outputs. If funding an account needs to wait, a dated readiness plan counts. You can build the habits and the family plan now.

Questions parents ask.

When do classes and office hours meet?

18-Year Advantage runs for six weeks with one live class per week: Tuesday at 10 p.m. Eastern, one hour, starting January 19, 2027. Missed classes can be watched as recordings. The optional Saturday office hour is separate and open to all Wealth Decoded students: 12 noon Eastern · 11 a.m. Central · 10 a.m. Mountain · 9 a.m. Pacific. Bring questions from your course for live Q&A with Coach DJ.

Is this for me or for my child?

The course is for the adults raising the child. You learn the tools and bring age appropriate conversations and activities home. The main focus is parents of younger children: preparing for their future, investing for them, teaching them, and championing their choices. Age specific tools also support families starting with older children and teenagers.

Do we have to invest $500 a month?

No. That amount is an illustration used in the course, not an entry requirement. Work with a contribution your family can sustain. If funding must wait, a dated readiness plan counts toward completion.

My child is already a teenager. Can we still use this?

Yes. The course includes a teen starting path, with emphasis on education decisions, first earnings, and preparing for the handoff. You start with your child’s current age and your family’s situation.

Can co parents or grandparents join?

One enrollment covers up to four adults raising the same child; add the others from inside the course.

How does the gift offer work?

Pay $599 total for two full enrollments: one so you can take the course yourself, and one to gift to new parents for the holidays. The gift offer is available only at $599. The $399 Launch price offer is for one enrollment and does not include a gift. See How the gift works for gift delivery and redemption details.

Do I need to purchase 4 Choices too?

No. 18-Year Advantage is complete on its own. 4 Choices for Gen Z is a separate course for young people ready to work on their own life design.

Will I need to share private family finances?

No account numbers, passwords, or private balances are needed in a group session. Use nicknames and keep your child’s reflections and dashboard private.

Does the course give personalized investment advice?

No. It teaches concepts and decision tools. Your family makes its own decisions and confirms current account, tax, and legal rules with official sources and qualified professionals. Any growth examples are hypothetical, not guaranteed results.

Do I need to know anything about investing?

No. Week 2 starts from zero and you leave with a plan, or a dated readiness plan if funding has to wait.

My child is a newborn. Is it too early?

It's the best time. You begin with the adults' plan and the account; the conversations come later, and the course tells you when.

My kids are 14 and 16. Still useful?

Yes. The 14-17 path focuses on education decisions, first earnings, and the handoff. For the 16 year old, pair it with 4 Choices.

We're co parenting across two homes.

One enrollment covers up to four adults raising the same child; add the others from inside the course.

Memberships (the Wealth Decoded Community, the app): cancel anytime; no partial month refunds.

Founding All-Access and App for Life: 14 days from purchase. Restart One-on-One deposit: refundable before your first session.
